Women have been leading peaceful protests in Iran for their basic human rights, true democracy, and freedom. The slogan Women, Life, Freedom was adopted following the death of Mahsa Amini, the 22-year-old Iranian woman, in September 2022 after being arrested and beaten by police for not wearing a hijab.

Nazanin Vaziri was born in 1979 in Tehran. She entered the Academy of Fine Arts in 1993 to study art and continued her education in graphics at the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the Islamic Azad University in Tehran. She started her career in the field of graphics and advertising in 1995.
